My name is Dr. Claude D-Charles, I was born and raised in Haiti. I migrated to the United States at the age of 14 to New York City, where I obtained my High School education. I attended both Syracuse University and the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I have been practicing chiropractic in Tallahassee for the past six years.
At age of 22, I had my first episode of low back pain which led to a long history of struggles on and off with low back issues while working with the United States Postal Service. The rigorous and repetitive physical demands of the job subjected me to further injuries and deteriorations of the spine. These issues led me to research and acquire a better understanding of the underlying causes of low back pain. After many years of research I decided to pursue an education in the field that specializes in spinal ailments and conditions without the invasive use of surgeries (Chiropractic).
I graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in December 2001 with Honors Magna Cum Laude. After completing my state credentials I went on to pratice in South Florida in 2002 then relocated to Tallahassee in 2006 where I have been praticing Chiropractic at 1711 S. Gadsden St since.
I have been happily married for 24 years and my wife and I are the proud parents of three children.
